As a guest at Broadgate Farm you will have access to our fabulous guide to activities and attractions in the area. Available as….

  • A hard copy, printed version in the green file in your cottage together with cycle routes and walks. Also a wildlife calendar so you can see at a glance what delights are in store each month
  • Pdf files that are sent to you with our “looking forward to seeing you” email 9 days before arrival. Inspiration so you can start planning your stay and booking trips.
  • A digital version “My Stay Planner” – after booking a link to the guest area will be sent to you. Log in with your email address and booking number to gain access  and you can not just explore all the guest information but check details of your booking, add guests names etc

Spa Services

Relax in the comfort of our wonderful cottages


The spa services can be booked for any cottage from small groups to large – see more details hereSpa services in your cottage

Glo-pamper engage local beauty therapists to join you at the cottage and can offer services from manicures, facials and massages. Perfect for a girls get together, there is a minimum charge and if you order several treatments for a group you may have 2 therapists .

It works best in the cottages like Cart House or High Barn where you have a second living room that you can use as the treatment room, they bring all equipment with them and ensure your feel thoroughly pampered.

 

Dog sitting

Want to go out without the dog?


 

Our dogsWe can sometimes provide a dog sitter, ideal if you want to pop out for  few hours without the dog, just ask Elaine. Another option is to use the external kennel that is available for guests to use free of charge.

There are lots of lovely walks around and if the paddock by the entrance has the gate open it means that we have no livestock in there and you are free to run your dog in there.

New to Walkington – Lion’s Den Dog Walking Field. A grassed area with woodland, you can book 30 minutes sessions for exclusive use – fully enclosed.

 

 

 

Private dining

Why eat out when you can eat in!


You can have a private chef cook for you in the cottages or order food in from local caterers, even the Michelin starred Pipe and Glass offers a range of take out foods forAl fresco dining dining at home.

Some of the cottages have large dining tables and we also have some extra fold up tables and extra chairs so you can all dine together. There are also large outdoor dining tables in some of the cottages, just ask for details

New for 2021 – our new outdoor dining area in the open barn. Perfect for outdoor gatherings if there are restrictions on numbers indoors. Seats up to 20 – 2 open sides – sheltered from the sun/elements – decorated with firsy lights and bunting. Available April – October.
