The spacious open plan living area is bright and comfortable, featuring a vaulted ceiling, exposed beams, oak flooring, and a wood-burning stove. Comfortable seating makes it easy to relax together, entertainment options include a large smart TV, books, games, and free fast Wi-Fi.

Well equipped kitchen & dining space

The open plan kitchen sits at the far end of the living area with French windows opening onto the garden. It is fully equipped for self catering stays, with granite worktops, a dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge, separate freezer, range oven and plenty of preparation space. The combined kitchen and dining space create a sociable layout for cooking, dining, and spending time together throughout your stay.

Comfortable bedrooms & flexible sleeping

The Cart House has two spacious ground floor ensuite bedrooms with flexible layouts:

  • Master super king bedroom with countryside views and an ensuite walk-in shower room
  • Second flexible bedroom (twin/super king), the ensuite has a bath and walk-in shower

The second bedroom has room for an additional put-up bed suitable for a child (extra cost). The layout provides flexibility for couples, and families.

Each bedroom benefits from its own ensuite bathroom. The master bedroom includes a large walk-in shower, while the second bedroom features an ensuite bathroom with both a bath and walk-in shower.

The cottage is arranged entirely on one floor and benefits from eco-friendly underfloor heating throughout ensuring a pleasant temperature in every season, paired with a wood-burning stove for added warmth and ambience.

Accessible and extendable

Cart House can be linked with the neighbouring Courtyard cottage to create a larger four bedroom property, perfect for group stays and family gatherings. The cottages connect internally, while additional sound insulation helps maintain your privacy when the properties are booked separately.

With everything on one floor this is one of our accessible cottages.

Outdoor space & parking

Outside, Cart House has a private lawned garden and patio area with outdoor furniture and a brick built barbecue stand for use with disposable barbecue trays. Positioned beside the paddocks, the cottage enjoys open countryside views with sheep often grazing nearby. Also access to the communal outdoor spaces, including a guest orchard and an hand crafted firepit with a surrounding seating area.

Parking for two cars directly outside the cottage, offering convenient access to the cottage throughout your stay.
