Dating back to 1897, the Stables has been beautifully converted into a spacious two bedroom holiday cottage while retaining original features, including its characterful wooden beams. These period details are complemented by modern comforts, creating a warm and welcoming place to relax.
Situated just two miles from the historic market town of Beverley and within easy reach of the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds, The Stables is ideal for couples, families and friends wishing to explore East Yorkshire. A ground floor bedroom and stylish accessible wet room also make the cottage a comfortable choice for guests with limited mobility.

The cottage features a fully fitted kitchen alongside a spacious dining area directly next to the living space. Designed with self catering stays in mind, the handmade kitchen provides everything you might need for relaxed meals and longer stays.
The dining area sits at the centre of the ground floor layout, creating an easy flow between cooking, dining, and the sitting room, making the space practical for families, groups of friends, and couples.
Comfortable bedrooms & flexible sleeping
The Stables sleeps four guests across its two bedrooms:
- A ground floor twin bedroom, that can also be arranged as a superking, located directly next to the wet room
- An upstairs master suite with a king size bed and large bathroom which has a bath and separate shower
There is space for a put up bed (extra charge) on the upstairs landing to accommodate an additional child. The upstairs bedroom features a partially sloped ceiling, adding to the cottage’s distinctive character.
Bathrooms including a ground floor wetroom
The cottage has two bathrooms; on the ground floor an accessible wetroom with a large easy access shower, and upstairs in the master suite, there’s a light and spacious bathroom with a bath and separate shower.
Year round comfort is delivered by eco friendly central heating, while the wood burning stove creates a cosy and inviting atmosphere.
Outdoor space & parking
Outside, Stables has a lovely private enclosed courtyard garden with a table and chairs, providing an ideal space for outdoor dining and relaxing. All cottages enjoy access to shared outdoor spaces, including a guest orchard and a stylish firepit with surrounding seating.
Designated parking for two cars directly outside, stepfree ramped access is available via the side garden entrance providing access for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility.
