East Yorkshire Walking Festival
East Yorkshire Walking Festival 10th – 23rd September 2022
This annual event is back in full, perfect for those that enjoy the great outdoors, full details can be found on Visit East Yorkshire’s website.
Some activities take place throughout the festival fortnight like Alpaca Walking, horse riding in Hockney country whist others are on set dates only – download the brochure from the Visit East Yorkshire website for all the details
There are many guided walks (make sure you book to ensure a spot!) some just an hour and a half others up to the full day, such a range including walks in the countryside or walks around the market towns with a bit of local history thrown in for good measure. The Beverley Ale Trail is bound to be popular!
Flamborough lighthouse is open for tours as is Wolds Vineyard & Laurel Vines, Wassand Hall has scheduled one of it rare openings for the Festival.
And not just walking – cycling events, a cruise on Pocklington Canal or even geocaching by the Humber Bridge.
