East Yorkshire is the perfect spot for a gourmet break, wonderful restaurants, incredible local food, breweries, vineyards and distilleries .

We are blessed with an incredible food offer locally - what better place could you choose to spend a Gourmet break!

If you stay with us midweek between October and March you can take advantage of a personally curated gourmet break. We will discuss with you all the options and produce a plan for the week so you can indulge in all the Yorkshire Wolds has to offer. All we ask is that you book accommodation with us for 4 nights midweek and pay for the experiences you select from our gourmet listing.

Restaurants - we have a wonderful selection including the Michelin starred Pipe and Glass just 6 miles away. When it comes to fine dining we can discuss your preferences and you can choose from the following Pipe & Glass, Westwood, the Wellington or Whites. Alternatively you may decide to dine in the cottage, we have private chefs available who will cook the menu of your choice.

If you like cooking or baking you could attend one of the Yorkshire Wolds Cookery School's classes and bring your gorgeous creations back to the cottage. If the great British Bake Off has inspried you Side Oven Bakery offer bread making classes.

You might also like to set some time aside to explore the wonderful farm shops, cafes and delis - TC Patisserie and Tickton Grange are renowned for their afternoon teas. You could order in some of the fabulous local food for example Staal's Smokehouse deliver wonderful smoked fish and poultry, you can even buy your milk direct from the farm gate at Cherry View Milk just 3-4 miles away.

There are many drink related activities that may appeal, the Spirit of Yorkshire Whisky Distillery offers tours or even a full day Distilling Experience. For larger groups we can organise a private tasting of the Laurel Vines wines or you may like to take a tour of some of the craft breweries in the area.

Suitable for groups of all sizes, some of the activities have a minimum price or number of participants. Please book ahead when you are considering this break, all elements are subject to availability. You do not have to fill your 4 night break with food related activities, you make like to leave some time free to explore the area.
