Our cottages have been created from period barns & farm buildings, skilfully converted into superb accommodation, all the modern comforts but with the character of bygone days. All interiors individually designed using natural materials, quality furnishings and sumptuous fabrics.

The Stables, Foldyard Cottage  & The Forge each sleep 4 in two bedrooms. The Barn House sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms & The Granary sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms. Most also have a cot space & option for a put up bed.

The Barn House & Foldyard Cottage can be interlinked by connecting door for larger parties of up to 12. Please note that Foldyard Cottage will not be open until 2011.

All our self catering cottages have well appointed kitchens with fridges, electric ovens, gas hobs, washing machines & microwaves. We have stayed in many holiday cottages over the years and we have tried to supply your cottage with all that you may need. Electricity and heating are included in the price you pay for your holiday let, downstairs there is underfloor heating with radiators to the upper floor. Most of our cottages have wood burning stoves – the first basket of logs is free with refills available at £5 per basket.

All visitors receive a welcome pack on arrival, bedlinen, towels and tea towels are provided. If you have any special requirements for younger visitors such as travel cots and high chairs please request at the time of booking and we will happily provide free of charge. Please note that we do not provide cot bedding.

For your entertainment all holiday cottages have

Outside you are welcome to wander down to the wildlife pond (still under development) or just sit in your own private garden/patio area and soak up the atmosphere.

Parking for 2 cars is available adjacent to all of the holiday cottages – additional parking spaces can also be accommodated on request.

All self catering cottages are no smoking – one well behaved small pet welcome at additional cost in three of our holiday cottages - The Forge, The Barn House & The Granary.

All of our cottages are heated by a geo thermal system this also provides the hot water. The nature of this system requires that the cottages have a hot water tank, it may sometimes be necessary to allow time for the water to reheat although this is supported by an immersion heater so the water does heat up quickly.

Rentals commence at 4.00pm on the day of arrival and end at 10.00am on the day of departure – it may be possible to adjust these timings depending upon how busy we are – please ask if necessary.

All our cottages are no smoking.

We have our own private water supply at Broadgate Farm, this is monitored by our Local Authority, East Riding of Yorkshire Council to ensure that it complies with all EC requirements. We think that it tastes better than mains water, the only treatments it undergoes is to pass through an Ultra-Violet light.
