We are only two miles from the centre of Beverley in the East Riding of Yorkshire and less than one mile from our nearest village Walkington. Beverley train station is less than two miles away and we are on a bus route.
Beverley is a delightful market town, stroll around the quaintly named streets, check out the market or try one of the many stunning restaurants on offer.
Walkington is a lovely village with a picturesque duck pond and some rather controversial terrapins. There are three pubs all of which serve food and a local shop. The next village is Bishop Burton, home to Bishop Burton College.
We are only 10 miles from Hull – a city with a proud maritime heritage and a host of attractions & activities including the Deep & Wilberforce House
The coast is within easy reach, sample the unspoilt environment at Spurn Point a designated National Nature Reserve & Heritage Coast or try the rock pools & puffin colony at Flamborough Headland another designated Heritage Coast. We have Blue Flag beaches at Bridlington & Hornsea and don’t miss Fraisthorpes’ lovely long sandy beach.
