The county of East Yorkshire is full of hidden tourist gems, there is so much to do here that you could stay for a month and do something different every day! Broadgate Farm is ideally located with all of the local attractions within easy reach. Unlike many UK holiday destinations there is just as much to do here in east Yorkshire whatever the weather or time of year.

- Country Walks – There are many delightful country walks in the East Riding of Yorkshire including sections of the Wolds Way. Our local council run an excellent website detailing local walks. www.eastriding.gov.uk/eastriding/walks/index.htm
- Bird watching - We have a wide range of birds in our gardens and fields and there are several important sites within easy distance including
- Hornsea Mere the largest freshwater lake in Yorkshire and was formed at the end of the Ice Age. Bird watching, rowing and a cafe.,
