Yorkshire is a wonderful county - yes we are probably biased but come and see for yourself all that Yorkshire has to offer! Set on the edge of the scenic Yorkshire Wolds in the heart of East Yorkshire just 2 miles from the county town Beverley Broadgate Farm Cottages is perfectly located for exploring the delights of the area.
Yorkshire was traditionally divided into three ridings, East Yorkshire, West Yorkshire & North Yorkshire, a structure for local government that lasted for centuries. There are now four counties in Yorkshire :- South Yorkshire; North Yorkshire; West Yorkshire and the East Riding of Yorkshire.
The East Riding of Yorkshire is a wonderful mainly rural county with so much to do that you could easily stay for a month and do something different every day! The variety means that it suits many different interests - select from our menu on the right to find out more about the different areas and activities on offer.
